Ang Bilin ng Lobo
Sa gubat ay nasok ang magkaibigan
mamamaril sila ng hayop sa gubat;
walang anu-ano, sa di kalayuan,
natanaw ang isang lobong sumisibad.
Isang mamamaril ang tumakbong bigla,
umakyat sa punong simbilis ng matsing,
ang naiwa’y dagling sa lupa dumapa,
nagpatay-pataya’t nalimot ang baril.
Lumapit ang lobo’t payapang inamoy
itong nakalugmok na di humihinga,
sa malas, ang lobo ay may ibinulong,
pagkuwa’y umalis at di na nakita.
Sa puno’y bumabang hintakot ang matsing
sa nabuhay uli’y nagtanong kaagad:
“Si Lobo ay ano ang iniwang bilin?”
“Lumayo raw ako sa katotong duwag!”
