Tar Amach, a Dúchrónaigh
by Dominic Behan

Rugadh mé i sráid i mBaile Átha Cliath
áit ar bhuail na drumaí dílseacha
na cosa grámhara Sasanacha, shiúil siad ar fud an domhain orainn
agus gach aon oidhche
nuair a thiocfadh m'athair abhaile go teann
thabharfadh sé cuireadh do na comharsain amach leis an gcurfá so:
Tar amach, a Dúchrónaigh!
Tar amach agus troid liom mar fhear!
Taispeáin do bhean conas a bhuaigh tú boinn síos i bhFlóndras!
Inis di mar a thug an ÓÉ
ort rith mar ifreann leat
ó lánaí glasa agus áille Chill na Seanrátha!
