देखहुँ के भइले सपनवाँ हो लाल।
कवने विरिछ तरे होइहें रे ललनवाँ
से रोवते नू होइहें बिहनवाँ हो लाल।
जब सुधि आवे राम जी साँवली सुरतिया
से व्याकुल होखे ला परानवाँ हो लाल।
केकई के हम का ले बिगरलीं से
बसलो उजारेली भवनवाँ हो लाल।
भोरहीं के भूखे होइहें पियासे मुँह सूखत होइहें
दूखत होइहें कोमल चरनवाँ हो लाल।
कहत महेन्द्र मोरा तरसे नयनवाँ
से कबले दू होइहें मिलनवाँ हो लाल।
