लाजो ना लागे स्याम गइलऽ मधुबनवाँ से
काहे के पिरीतिया लगवलऽ हो स्याम।
हमनी के छोड़ी स्याम कूबड़ी पर देलऽ परान
से काहे के सवतिया बनवल हो स्याम।
ऊधो बाबा दे के पाँती कऽ गइलें घवाहिल छाती
से अबला अनारी के भुलवलऽ हो स्याम।
अबकी जे अइहन ऊधो बतिया पूछब हम दूगो
से काहे हमरो मतिया भोरवलऽ हो स्याम।
कहत महेन्दर हरी बिसरे ना एको घड़ी
पिरीतिया में छतिया जरवलऽ हो स्याम।
