झनक-झनक झन बिछुआ बाजे।
सेज चढ़त डर लागे।
आधी रात भई जागत पहरूआ,
लागत डरवा
सासु-ननद होइहें जागे। झनक-झनक।
द्विज महेन्द्र जिया मानत नाहीं
काहूसे कहत लाज लागे।
मोरी झनक-झनक झन बिछुआ बाजे।
