کاغەزێک بۆ باوکم لە بەغداوە بەبۆنەی جەژنی ڕەمەزانەوە

| بابە! بە یادی ئەو وەتەنە و ئاو و خاکەکەی | زەڕڕاتی لەش بە یەکتر ئەڵێن من موعەتتەرم |
| یادێکی مەعنەوی شک ئەبەم لەو وڵاتەدا | تەئسیر ئەکاتە سەر دڵی زاری موحەققەرم |
| ئەو خاکە پێم ئەڵێ بە تەبیعەت کە گەوهەرم | ئەو ئاوە پێم ئەڵێ بە تەبیعەت کە کەوسەرم |
| ئەو کوردە پێم ئەڵێ کەیومەرس و سکەندەرم | ئەو ئەهلە پێم ئەڵێ بە شەجاعەت کە حەیدەرم |
| بەخوا لە دووریی ئەو وەتەنە و ئەهل و خاکەکەی | ڕۆژم بە مانگە، مانگ بە ساڵ، تاجەکەی سەرم |
| ئەم جەژنە دێمەوە بە لیقای شاد ئەبم ئەگەر | چەرخی فەلەک خەراپی نەکا هەرچی شک بەرم |
