Ветліг-муніг Шыр да Гадь
Ю дорӧ со войисны.
Ва дінӧдзыс лойисны
Няйтсӧ, сэсся-й сулав, дадь!
Вуджны васӧ колӧ,
А Шыр оз лысьт, Гаддьыс полӧ.
Бергӧдчыны медся шань,
Мукӧд Шыръяс, Гадьяссянь
Абу лӧсьыд, яндзим зэв!
Мукӧд Шыръяс багатыръяс,
Кодйывлӧны кыръяс;
Мукӧд Гаддьӧс оз син пев,
Сідзи пӧльтӧм ёна!
Нималӧм кӧть кодлы дона.
Гаддьыс шуӧ: «Шырӧй, кев!»
— Тэ пӧ водзджык, — Шырыс шуӧ.
«Тэ пӧ, — Гаддьыс: — ме пӧ суа».
— Да эм-ӧ пӧ тэнад садь? —
«Аслад мывкыд абу нинӧм!»
Шырыс: — Кок пӧ дженьыд! — Гадь:
«Коктӧм ме да-й паськыд кынӧм!»
— Мый пӧ меям кокысь? — Шырыс.
«Да пӧ кокыд тэнад тырыс!»
Венсисны сідз найӧ дыр.
Лӧгасис Шыр — лӧгнас Шыр
Ваӧ буз-баз чӧвтчис пыр,
Кокшӧнъяснас сыніс-муніс
Быдса сыв — да-й суніс!
Шырлысь нӧйтчӧм аддзӧ Гадь,
Сералӧ и воштӧ садь...
Синванас со синмыс пемдӧм,
Ӧддзӧм, ӧзйӧм, пӧльтчӧм, семдӧм...
Сераліс да сераліс,
Да и потіс кынӧмыс.
