Иона воклы — Крымын бурдӧдчысьлы

Тулысын пӧткаяс войвылӧ лэбисны,
Лунвылысь, Саридзысь, чукӧрӧн мунісны...
Пальма пу сулаліс, туганнас довъяліс,
Жальпырысь на йылысь аслыс сідз мӧвпаліс:

«Мый бара кыскӧ сідз найӧӧс войвылас?
Мыйӧн оз кажитчы зарниа лунвылыс?
Мый понда мунӧны татысь быд гожӧм
Жугылин оланас, мый вылӧ гажйӧн?..»

Зэв вылі енэжті бордъяяс лэбисны,
Сьӧлӧмсьыс долыда найӧ сідз горзісны:
«Ылын сэн, войвылас, чужан му миян...
Сэтчӧ ми чукӧрӧн гортаным лэбам!»
