Section 4. All tourism and cultural activities are cancelled.
Section 5. All meetings regardless of size are cancelled except on Peace and Security and the Inter-agency task force meetings created for the COVID-19 pandemic.
Section 6 The Senior Citizens Office, Persons with Disability Office and E-library will be closed during the period of Public Health Emergency. The services offered by the Aringay Amphitheater will not be available for any activities.
Section 7. Students under the age of 18 are not allowed to roam around and are supposed to stay home. Law-enforcing agents will accost these children and reprimand their parents.
Section 8. The Municipal Government advises its residents to practice preventive measures like frequent hand washing, observing proper cough etiquette, social distancing, avoiding unnecessary travel, and postponing mass gatherings. All at risk groups like Senior Citizens, Persons with co-morbidities (Diabetes mellitus,, cancers of any forms, undergoing chemotherapy, respiratory illnesses and the like) and those with low immunity are advised to have heightened precautionary measures.
Section 9. Residents with a travel history and respiratory symptoms and/or those with exposure to someone who is sick or exposure to someone who has a suspected exposure are expected to cooperate with health authorities following their protocols. At the Barangay Level, you can report to the Barangay Health Emergency Response Team or you get in touch with the Municipal Health Office NCOV Focal Person. They will make proper representations to the Department of Health Region 1 or to Hospital equipped to handle the case.
Section 10. Because of the foregoing conditions, I direct the Municipal Health Officer and Dr. Armando Avena, to institute measures of public health concern in response of the declaration of a public health emergency Code Red, Sublevel 1, pursuant to his authority as a Municipal Health Officer. The Municipal Health Officer is authorized and directed to use his judgment as to the duration of this public health emergency.
Section 11 Accordingly, I direct the Municipal Health Officer to take any action necessary to protect the public health.
