AN ORDINANCE GRANTING INCENTIVE TO QUALIFIED FRONTLINE FIELD WORKERS, SPECIFICALLY, TRAFFIC ENFORCERS, FIRST RESPONDERS, AND GARBAGE COLLECTORS AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

WHEREAS, the Local Government Unit (LGU), through the Public Order and Safety Office, is mandated to maintain peace and order, most especially the smooth flow of traffic in major thoroughfares and streets. As it is one of the priority programs of the city government, traffic enforcers are tasked to perform such duties and functions;

WHEREAS, the nature of the work of assigned traffic enforcers is such that they are exposed to physical risks and health hazards as they work outside of regular office environment in the performance of their duties and responsibilities, more so than other LGU employees;
