Abnoi vaqt so‘zlari bag‘rimni qildi qon,
Onlarny javri ilkidin aylay kima fig‘on?
Yursang, yurur degaylar, alar shikvalar qilib,
O‘ltursang o‘lturur, deyishur ta’na aylabon.
Majlisda so‘z samandig‘a mahmiz bermasang,
Qo‘yg‘aylar «Indamas» laqabingni o‘shal zamon.
Vajhi ma’osha jahd ila ursang agar qo‘lung,
Derlar hasad yuzi-la, «Kerakmasmu senga jon?»
Gar sovrulub alar kibi yo‘q bo‘lsa bir ishing,
Nisbat berurlar anda hamoqatqa, ey javon.
Kosh erdi kelsa o‘zlarini ilkidin bir ish,
To anda arzig‘ay edi desa nechuk yomon.
Sharmanda shahar egosiyu gulshanda zog‘lar,
Bulbul kanora oldi o‘zin ochmayin zabon.
Hech vaj ila agar qo‘lidin yo‘q qutulg‘uluq,
Erab, magar alardin o‘zing bermasang amon.
Shavkat so‘zingni bas qilu qoch haq panohiga,
Ne sud alar so‘zyadinu na senga bir ziyon.
