کی حق سے فرشتوں نے اقبالؔ کی غمّازی
گُستاخ ہے، کرتا ہے فطرت کی حِنابندی
خاکی ہے مگر اس کے انداز ہیں افلاکی
رومی ہے نہ شامی ہے، کاشی نہ سمرقندی
سِکھلائی فرشتوں کو آدم کی تڑپ اس نے
آدم کو سِکھاتا ہے آدابِ خداوندی!
