نہ بدلنا تھا نہ بدلا دل شیدا اپنا
رنگ ہر وقت بدلتی رہی دنیا اپنا
صورت آتش خاموش جلا کرتا ہوں
دیکھتا ہوں شب غم آپ تماشا اپنا
زخم نے داد نہ دی درد نے فریاد نہ کی
رہ گیا تھام کے قاتل بھی کلیجہ اپنا
حسن ہے داد خدا عشق ہے امداد خدا
غیر کا دخل نہیں بخت ہے اپنا اپنا
وہ سنیں یا نہ سنیں نالہ و فریاد عزیزؔ
آپ ہرگز نہ کریں ترک تقاضا اپنا
