اک زندہ حقیقت مرے سینے میں ہے مستور
کیا سمجھے گا وہ جس کی رگوں میں ہے لہُو سرد
نے پردہ، نہ تعلیم، نئی ہو کہ پُرانی
نِسوانیَتِ زن کا نِگہباں ہے فقط مرد
جس قوم نے اس زندہ حقیقت کو نہ پایا
اُس قوم کا خورشید بہت جلد ہُوا زرد
