دِگرگُوں جہاں اُن کے زورِ عمل سے
بڑے معرکے زندہ قوموں نے مارے
مُنجّم کی تقویمِ فردا ہے باطل
گرے آسماں سے پُرانے ستارے
ضمیرِ جہاں اس قدر آتشیں ہے
کہ دریا کی موجوں سے ٹُوٹے ستارے
زمیں کو فراغت نہیں زلزلوں سے
نُمایاں ہیں فِطرت کے باریک اشارے
ہمالہ کے چشمے اُبلتے ہیں کب تک
خضَر سوچتا ہے وُلر کے کنارے!
