کہا پہاڑ کی ندّی نے سنگ ریزے سے
فتادگی و سر افگندگی تری معراج!
ترا یہ حال کہ پامال و درد مند ہے تُو
مری یہ شان کہ دریا بھی ہے مرا محتاج
جہاں میں تُو کسی دیوار سے نہ ٹکرایا
کسے خبر کہ تُو ہے سنگِ خارہ یا کہ زُجاج!
