Ăслă çынсем пулман-ши?
Мĕншĕн халь те майлăрах
Ăссем пĕртте тухмаç-ши?
Мĕншĕн пирĕн çул йĕрсĕр,
Кăтрашкаллă, хуп-хура?
Сулланан ним пĕлмесĕр,
Тĕттĕм карнă йĕр-тавра.
Суккăр çын пк такăнса,
Урлă-марлă çӳретпĕр;
Ӳсĕр çын пек анраса,
Пĕр пуссанах ӳкетпĕр.
Килтĕрччĕ хуть пĕр этем
Çӳллĕ çутă çуртипе, —
Палăрĕччĕç алăксем
Унăн лăпкă çутипе.
Тӳрех тимĕр алăкран
Уçĕччĕç те тухĕччĕç,
Çут çанталăк курнăран
Темĕн тĕрлĕ савнăччĕç.
Пурăнăç та çĕнĕрен
Шыв пек тăрă юхĕччĕ,
Çĕнĕленнĕ çынсенчен
Пысăк ăста тухĕччĕ.
Тăрăшăр-ха çапах та,
Тухăпăр, тен, çутталла.
Хутте йывăртарах та —
Ним тума... ут малалла!
