Buloqlar quchog’ida
Chimkent uchun
Ay, ko‘nglimda shon oralash uyat bir iz qoldirg’an
buloqlarning quchog‘i!
Kimlar, kimlar ko‘kragingga dovul kabi soldirg’an,
ay tuzalish o‘chog‘i?
Men bag‘ringga shifo istab kelgan yo’lchi bo‘lsam-da,
boshqa narsa izlayman,
U narsani topmag’uncha charchasam-da, tolsam-da –
ko‘kragingda kezarmen…
Men izlagan eski izlar, bilmadimkim, qolg’anmi? –
yoki o‘chib ketganlar?
Safhalarga o‘rinlashqan “kitoba”lar yolg‘onmi? –
yo – silinib bitganlar?
Tarix uchun yozdirilg’an “kitoba”lar o‘chmaslar,
o‘chmaguncha koinot!
Tarix bilan o‘rnatilg’an haykallar ham ko‘chmaslar,
ko‘chmaguncha mumkinot!
Tarix uchun o‘rnatilg’an haykallarni ko‘rsam men,
shu shifolik sinangda,
Meni emas, yana boshqa bir haykalni ko‘rgaysen,
adir yo‘li – zinangda!..
