@Koavf: Temporarily keep them as having Main_Page/lzh means the need to invite Chinese Wikisource to discuss how to handle them. Furthermore, Zhxy 519 still has major problems on Chinese Wikisource per Wikisource:Scriptorium/Archives/2024#User not here to build a better free library, so better wait until settling the highly questionable adminship of Zhxy 519 that Chinese Wikisource is negotiating now. @Jusjih: I can't speak to internal zh.ws drama. As long as someone is an admin there, I just have to trust that the community there is competent to police itself until/unless I know otherwise. If Zhxy imports these texts to zh.ws, I will delete the local copies. Chinese Wikisource always accepts literary Chinese content. The main reason why it redirects here is a decision by WMF LangCom at m:Requests_for_new_languages/Wikisource_Literary_Chinese#Proposed_rules_for_LZH_in_Multilingual_Wikisource:

We also don't want Chinese Wikisource to sabotage this effort by copying content in from Multilingual Wikisource and claiming it should not belong in Multilingual Wikisource.

First off, this was published across several years, but that was a long time ago, so it's very likely that anyone who worked on it died a very long time ago and it's in the public domain in its place of publication (Poland) and it's certainly in the public domain in the United States. A Tibetan text with no clear source. There's already a deletion discussion of a supposed English translation at the English Wikisource, here.

I have many concerns about the authenticity of even the original, untranslated page:

A massive amount of text has been added recently to the transcription, post-deletion discussion at enWS. Where did that come from? I have no idea.
A Google verbatim search for Tibetan phrases within the text come up with nothing: example.
An LLM called perplexity.ai was admitted to being used for formatting of the text here and at English Wikisource, but it's not clear to what extent the LLM was used. To be clear, I'm not anti-AI like a lot of people are nowadays, but I still hope that an LLM wasn't used to generate this entire text from nothing, or that would be blatantly inauthentic.

What exactly is this work? Is it entirely user-generated? AI-generated? A transcription of an older text (which is what it should be if it's here)? No transparency has been given that I can see, and it concerns me to even keep this here. I do not speak Tibetan, but perhaps someone more familiar with that culture / history can check this situation out? SnowyCinema (talk) 12:25, 11 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
