Be it enacted by the Sangguniang Bayan of Lingayen, Pangasinan in session duly assembled that:
SECTION 1. TITLE. It is hereby created the position of Local Disaster Risk Reduction Management (DRRM) Assistant (SG-8) in the Local Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (LDRRMO) under the Executive Department, Municipal Government of Lingayen, Pangasinan.
SECTION 2. The created position of Local Disaster Risk Reduction Management (DRRM) Assistant (SG-8) shall perform the following functions and responsibilities as follows:
1. Operate a multi hazard early warning system linked to disaster risk reduction to provide accurate and timely advice to national or local emergency response organization to general public.
2. Coordinate to mass medic, particularly radio, landline communication and technologies for communication within rural communities.
3. Conduct continuous disaster monitoring.
4. Response to and manage the adverse effects of emergencies and carry out activities in the affected areas.
5. Other duties declared necessary in the performance of his/her duties.
SECTION 3. The Local Disaster Risk Reduction Management (DRRM) Assistant (SG-8) shall receive a monthly compensation of P14,236.00 or annual basic salary of P170,832.00 including other renumerations allowed by law.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approval by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Pangasinan.
