MUNICIPALITY OF BAUANG

SECTION 20. ACTIVITIES & SWIMMING IN BEACHES & INLAND WATERS. This section covers the conduct of activities and swimming in beaches and inland waters in the municipality of Bauang, La Union.

IMPLEMENTING GUIDELINES: 1. Entrance and exit to beaches shall be regulated as far as possible care of concerned barangay council in cooperation with all stakeholders within the area.

2. Swimming hours shall be regulated as follows to avoid untoward incidents brought by the hot weather:

MORNING : 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM

AFTERNOON : 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

3. Minimum public health standards including use of face masks shall be strictly observed.

4. Cleanliness and sanitation shall be observed at all times. Use duly designated garbage bins. “Basura mo, dala mo.”

5. Monitoring of swimming guests shall be done by concerned resorts and hotels.

6. Monitoring of beach-goers and inland water-goers from outside the municipality shall be done by the barangay thru the use of logbook for purposes of contact tracing.

7. All illegal structures along beaches and inland waters shall be cleared in accordance with applicable laws, rules and regulations to ensure sanitation & order within the area.

8. The Bauang Yamang Tubig Task Force (BYTTF) shall monitor the implementation of guidelines provided herein in cooperation with the PNP, MDRRMO, Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction Management Committee (BDRRMC), Barangay Health Emergency Response Team (BHERT) and other stakeholders.”

SECTION 20. GRAPE PICKING ACTIVITIES. This section covers the regulation of grape picking activities/adventure being offered by the different grape farms covering the stretch from barangay Payocpoc Sur to barangay Urayong, referred herein as grape picking adventure area or GPAA.

The GPAA shall be known as “UBaS Pa!”.
